I am a student of Rosemary Gladstar‘s herbal home study course, The Science and Art of Herbology, through Sage Mountain Retreat Center and Botanical Sanctuary and am enrolled in Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine‘s Roots of Herbalism course. I have a B.A. with honors in history and environmental studies and am a licensed massage license in North Carolina. I enjoy hiking and traveling and learning to cook. For years, my dream has been to live in a small farmhouse with a garden and lots of surrounding land, somewhere in the mountains.
This blog chronicles my foray into the world of herbs and herbal healing. It functions as study guide, allowing me to process the information I’ve gleaned and re-present it. Unless otherwise credited, the information presented here comes from Rosemary Gladstar via The Science and Art of Herbalism. As Roots of Herbalism gets underway, information from that school and its main teacher, Juliet Blankespoor, will present itself as well. I am excited to learn and share this knowledge.
